&lt;p&gt;The pc-ble-driver-py dependency doesn&amp;#39;t support API version 6, unfortunately. But could you maybe eloborate more on why you want to upgrade so I can report it as a feature request internally? I would not expect to see any performance improvements from porting to the new API.&lt;/p&gt;
