Is there a way to allocate a huge buffer (80KB) on NRF 9160 setup?
I have NRF 9160 connected to BT840X over UART.
I want to upgrade the BT840X FW from the NRF 9160 over the UART so I need to get and store the BT840X FW during this process

RE: How can I allocate a huge buffer (80KB) from the heap on NRF 9160 setup?

Hi!

Your update was exactly what I was going to suggest. Use the DFU module in NCS to store the new FW image in the flash memory partition.

Not sure what you mean by "the flash memory area of image_1 (reserved for secured image)".

Best regards,

As I am running in Non-Secure mode, I am thinking of using the flash memory area of image_1 (reserved for secured image) on NRF9160, to store the image of the BT840X.

Is there something that I am missing in this approach ?
