I am really confused now. The user guide for the Thingy91 suggests that the GPS antennae is used for both GPS & LTE (see extract of user guide below).

"7.3.4 GPS The nRF9160 SiP has a dedicated GPS port to support global navigation, and the same antenna is used for both LTE and GPS"

It further states that the GPS connector is of type SWF also (MM8130-2600), but looking at my Thingy91, they appear to be different (7.3.4.1).

I don't want to plug in the wrong type of antenna into the Thingy91, and possibly cause it damage.

Is it correct that the GPS connector, is also used for LTE or is the documentation wrong or confusing in this point?

The Murata adaptor cables are hugely expensive, why were they selected ? Is this correct one ? www.digikey.co.uk/.../1775923

Regards

MM8130-2600) with an internal switch. An adapter is available (Murata part no. MXHS83QE3000) with a standard SMA connection on the other end for connecting instruments. The adapter is not included in the kit. The insertion loss in the adapter cable is approximately 0.5–1 dB."
