I am using nrf51422 and s130 softdevice for multirole. Is there any way to reduce the receiver power during scanning so that the overall current gets reduced?

RE: Reduce rx power in scanning mode

No.

RE: Reduce rx power in scanning mode

Is there any API calls to adjust the RX power?

RE: Reduce rx power in scanning mode

Hi,

In general you may find the nRF52-series use less current, so that may be an option. For the nRF51-series using DCDC may reduce peak current consumption during scanning, also the CPU may be put in idle while waiting for radio activity to reduce current consumption. It is also possible to change the scan window and scan interval to reduce the current consumption overall.
