I have a PCA10028 board. When I connect it to a computer the LED LD5 doesn't turn on at all, and no new USB connection pops-up in my computer. But when I connect it with boot loader mode, by pressing the reset button and power cycle the board,

RE: PCA10028 not functioning

Thanks. Your solution worked. I downloaded the file from your link and simply did the drag and drop in the boot loader drive.

So it's definitely worth getting hold of the latest JLink software (v4.98e as of today) then connecting to the board from the JLink command line or any other means you like and getting the very latest firmware applied. At least one of those updates was annotated to fix issues with the Mass Storage Device.

RE: PCA10028 not functioning

Hi

We have seen similar problems before and it is most likely an issue with J-Link. Have you tried to update the J-Link FW? Just drag-and-drop the .bin file in my link onto the DK bootloader drive. Sometimes we have had to use a different computer to update the FW.
