Can you replicated it on the DK? If so, I can take a look at your project, compile it, and run some current measurements myself. Then I should be able to find out what's wrong.

Try calling nrfx_saadc_uninit instead of nrf_saadc_disable.

saadc_conf.low_power_mode = false -> will increase consumption by 0.9mA

saadc_conf.low_power_mode = true -> will increase consumption by 2.4mA

That's likely the EasyDMA. Have you tried enabling the low_power feature of the saadc driver?

I use nRF5 sdk 16.0.0 and softdevice s112 version 7.0.1.
