The blinky example should take care the service UUID. So that you should make sure the peripheral and central side service & client UUID service. Then , you should take care the notify enable(CCCD). Then the button and LED (read &write characteristic).However, the NRF51 and NRF52 SDK &softdevice are quite difference. Apply it for it's own version.

(Actually on thread title I did a mistake as I was working with nrf1822 chip but now moved onto 52840 but guidence regarding anything would be very helpful to me

Examples from nrf sdk like ble_app_blinky.

I learned from youtube about how to used the microcontroller part like reading from button set/clear a LED etc.

Do you have any experience with any other microcontroller(s)? Or with programming in general?

I wouldn't recommend nRF - or any other similar SoC - as a starting point with no prior experience.
