I bought the BM832E development board and have not yet ordered the DK board.

It says that arduino uno rev 3 is compatible with it. Does this mean I can plug my arduino uno rev 3 board into the development board and use the arduino ide.

Thanks Einar for feedback, I managed to find the answers from tech support that designed the DK boards.

I little bit of knowledge is a dangerous thing.haha but I am learning.

RE: NRF52832 BM832E dev board

Hi Louis,

No. It means that the DK is HW compatible with Arduino shields (you can plug them in), that is all. There is Arduino support for many Nordic SoCs, but that is not officially supported by Nordic. I would normally recommend you use either the nRF Connect SDK or nRF5 SDK. If you want to use Arduino, then the Arduino forums would be more suitable.
I assume I would need the DK board in conjunction with Segger only if I need to download my code into the ble module without running it with a microcontroller.
I am not sure I understand, can you elaborate?
