I have created a BLE connection utilizing E73-2G4M04S1B module from EBYTE with nRF52832 as its core.

My problem is its low range which is limited to 15meters. As the distance exceeds 15 meters, the packet loss begins to appear.

As I investigated, the maximum range of my utilized module is about the mentioned meters in my using condition.

I have put the module on the floor which significantly reduces the range.

Best regards.

RE: Low range problem with nRF52832

Hi

If you are using a third party module then it might be limited what you can do to optimize the range, since you are already using the maximum output power of the nRF52.

Have you done some testing with a standard nRF52DK to see how it compares to the range you get from the module?

Also, have you integrated the module on your own PCB, or is it running on it's own?
You should check the documentation for the module, there might be some guide lines on how to integrate the module with your PCB to ensure optimal RF performance.

Best regards
Torbjørn
