Yes, there are no known other anomalies with the SiP other than the wrong reporting of the HW revision.

I assume any other relevant issues would be documented in the nRF9160 Revision 2 Errata. I have asked internally to double check.

Thanks Håkon, that’s useful to know as we are screening for only the new hardware revisions at production. Are there any other issues with these pre Sep’20 SiPs we should be aware of? Is this detailed somewhere in an errata document?

GEN1 of the SiP should return "B0A" and GEN2 of the SiP should return "B1A". However, some GEN2 devices are, as you are experiencing, incorrectly returning "BQA". This is due to an production programming error that is now fixed. SiPs delivered after Sep'20 should contain the correct HW revision information.

Please let us know if the reporting of wrong version is blocking anything as your project is moving forward.
