Hi,

Yes, as mentioned in the nRF52833 Product Specification:
- On-air compatible with nRF52, nRF51, nRF24L, and nRF24AP Series
We do not have a habit of obsoleting parts. This only happens if the chip has a direct replacement and/or the chip is not being ordered for a long time. There is still plenty of products using this chip, so I do not think it will be obsoleted anytime soon.
QIAA refers to the aQFN73 7x7mm package version, this will not be available in smaller size. 5x5mm QFN40 package is available as variant QDAA (nRF52833-QDAA-R), see the compatibility matrix.
