 I&amp;#39;m trying to understand the PSM availability of my local network. 
 After playing a bit with the RAT and RPTAU values, I found out that using RAT=16~30 secs and RPTAU=~240 secs values the network allows me to use PSM mode. &lt;p&gt;Unfortunately, I don&amp;#39;t think it is possible for the device to discover what values are allowed, other than trying them all.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;However, if you ask the network operator, they should be able tell you what rules they are using.&lt;/p&gt;
