Hii ,

Thank you so much for the support,I have been able to figure out the problem . It seems that problem was with MCU firmware and Softdevice, now it works fine . Here what I did

1.Uploaded the Jlink firmware for MCU

2.Then I uploaded the required Softdevice .

Now I am able to dump the code properly using this command line

nrfjprog -f nrf52 --chiperase --program (firmwarename.hex) --verify –reset
Example:- nrfjprog -f nrf52 --chiperase --program cattle_tracker_version_6_2_0.hex --verify –reset

Do you have a picture of your setup?

Have you made sure to power the module with a similar voltage to that of the nRF52DK?

Do you have the same issue with multiple modules, or have you only tested it on one?

Thanks for replying i am using nrf52 dk kit to program external device but I am getting error, here i am sharing the error log do reply if you find solution

You need to use some kind of J-Link programmer and connect it to the SWD interface on your module.

If you have a Nordic development kit (like the nRF52DK or nRF52840DK) you can use this as a programmer, since the DK's come with a debug out port.

Hii Henry,

I need few clarification on this

1. Do i need to upload any bootloader code on my CBTMN10 chip which is based on nr52810 module?

2.Which firmware should i upload QFAA with BB0 or QCAA with B00?

3. What if upload any SoftDevice? Will it cause any problem while programming?

Please use the old version of nrf connect(before 3.6.0). Because it has bug that you mention (device could not be recognized). I also had replied the bug here few weeks ago. Another way you can read by nrfprog command line output to a file.

When I try to program with nrf_programmer i get this in log

Unsupported device. The detected device could not be recognized as neither JLink device nor Nordic USB device.

And i am not able to see device memory layout.

A1.You may use nrf connect - programmer to make sure SD,MBR & APP code is exist or not. But if you want to apply the nRF toolchain. You have to make sure the BLE service is real follow the ble_peripera examples.

A2. Almost the SD clock source is configured as LF:

nrf_clock_lf_cfg_t clock_lf_cfg = NRF_CLOCK_LFCLKSRC;

// Initialize SoftDevice.
SOFTDEVICE_HANDLER_INIT(&clock_lf_cfg, NULL);

If your clock source is internal or others, you may configure the code and sdk_config.h

If your customer board hardware is not the same with DK, of course you have to define the same I/O, driver as your customer board.
