The nRF5 SDK does not include support for the nRF5340 I'm afraid. I strongly recommend checking out the nRFConnect SDK, specifically the "Working with nRF53 Series" page here, which helps you get started using the nRF5340 and its dual core solution.

It seems like you are looking into Mesh, so I would also suggest the Bluetooth Mesh Light sample in the nRFConnect SDK which has support for the nRF5340.

The nRF5 SDK support the nRF52 series, which are single-core SoCs. The examples in the nRF5 SDK is not suited for the nRF5340, as the nRF5340 samples usually consist of two separate images: One that runs on the network core and one that runs on the application core.

Hi,

I have downloaded nrf5 Sdk 17.02 and nrf5 mesh 5.0 version. And I have compiled basic examples using Segger ide.

But I would likely to prefer nrf53 rather than nrf52 version. kindly tell me the software tools which I need to download in addition for nrf53 series.

Also tell me whether I need to use the updated version of nrf Sdk and nrf Sdk mesh for nrf 53 series

You need nRF Connect SDK for the nRF53 series.
