&lt;p&gt;It just means that WireShark doesn&amp;#39;t know what that service UUID is.&amp;nbsp;I don&amp;#39;t think the UUID list in the nRF Sniffer is very populated. Your assumptions in the bullet point list are correct.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;You probably already know this, but if you click on a packet in the trace, you can see more information on what&amp;#39;s going on in each packet.&lt;/p&gt;
