Although not supported, the PPK2 can measure any circuit within the boundaries of the PPK2 specification (<1A, 0.8-5V)

Unfortunately, we don't test that, and I am afraid we don't provide the support for that use case.

So can I use use it to measure power consumption of boards that don't have nRF chips in them?

Hi,

This provides support for both short range applications on our nRF51, nRF52 and nRF53 Series, in addition to our nRF91 Series cellular SiP with headroom to spare for additional circuit draw, e.g. an nRF9160 DK with attached sensors.
