Hi Heidi,

Now it seems to work. What I did was:
1. run: nrfjprog --recover
2. power cycle the board and connect it to the USB port on the laptop instead of the USB hub (this could be a potential issue)
3. run: west flash --tool-opt="--log"

it probably has something to do with USB ports or chip memory when reading and writing. But the main thing is that it is working.

Thanks. It looks like it's failing to halt the chip during the erasing for some reason. You can try power-cycling and then trying again? If that doesn't work we will take a closer look tomorrow.

Here is the log file you asked for.
The command was: west flash --tool-opt="--log"

Could you run the command with the argument --log and provide me with the resulting log file? So we can take a look at the full log file.

I suppose that it is something wrong with the nrf53 chip.

when I do:
west flash --recover
everything is erased ok

but then I do:
west flash
and i get this response:

I know this should be working since I have a new nrf53dk that can be flashed
