&lt;p&gt;I watched the Video on this again but you really need to make a new video with only what has to be done. I went back to the nrf9160-DK and watched, the LED1 &amp;amp; LED4 were flashing together after awhile I then tried to enter the device and it was accepted. Perhaps if the error spoke English:&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I wonder why Hologram did not need the IMEI to allow me on?&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Have you been able to submit the SIM card&amp;#39;s ICCID in a PM? To send a PM, or private message, you can click on the&amp;nbsp;envelope in top right corner. A drop down menu will a appear and you should be able to click &amp;quot;new message&amp;quot;.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;In the message view you should be able to add the recipient by typing in iBasis, selecting &lt;a href="https://devzone.nordicsemi.com/members/ibasis-tech-support"&gt;iBasis Tech Support&lt;/a&gt; and then add your message.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Regarding the SIM activation, it may also be an issue on the nRF Cloud side. I will investigate and update you as soon as I know.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;It appears you have to register the SIM that comes with the nRF9160-DK from iBASIS then on another page install the device information after the SIM has been registered.&lt;/p&gt;

Can you please add what error message you are receiving when it fails? Maybe I can help to clear the confusion. You are right, the provisioning part should not be this complicated.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;What SIM are you trying to activate? Can you please go through the steps that you have done?&lt;/p&gt;
