&lt;p&gt;The examples in our SDK specify the exact MDK files it should use and&amp;nbsp;the SDK&amp;nbsp;already comes with the MDK version that should be used. It&amp;#39;s located inside&amp;nbsp;\modules\nrfx\mdk in the SDK. So you don&amp;#39;t need to worry about the newer version of the MDK that comes with SES. &lt;p&gt;It&amp;#39;s best to stick to the tested version - Segger is an independent company, so they don&amp;#39;t necessarily keep compatibility with Nordic SDKs (or any other 3rd-party stuff).&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;You can download earlier versions of SES from the Segger site.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The latest nRF5 SDK is 17.0.2:&lt;/p&gt;
