The DFU protocol is described <a href="https://infocenter.nordicsemi.com/topic/sdk_nrf5_v17.0.2/lib_dfu_transport.html?cp=7_1_3_5_2">here</a>.</p> <p>On the RPi side, you can have a look at my DFU master example <a href="https://devzone.nordicsemi.com/nordic/short-range-guides/b/software-development-kit/posts/getting-started-with-nordics-secure-dfu-bootloader#h108sjziaxo3m81rkgr1has5r1d72qtu">here</a>.
