The chip itself neither knows nor cares what development tools you use - so starting with Arduino doesn't lock you in to having to keep using it forever.

Impossible to say.

Of course, Arduino is open-source - so there's nothing to stop you adding extra features there if you find something missing ...

But, as Marjeris Romero suggests, Arduino is not supported by Nordic - so you'd need to be asking in the Arduino forums.

Hi, I don't know the scope of your project but for many hobbyist using the Arduino platform is enough, neverless the official and supported SDK for the nRF52832 is the Nordic's nRF5 SDK. If you are using the nRF5 SDK you can use Devzone forums for support for bigger projects, but for Arduino projects I recommend heading up to the Arduino forum for support: https://forum.arduino.cc/
