The nRF52 series support Enhanced ShockBurst 1 and 2 mbit, (250k is no longer supported).

I will ask one of our RF engineers to take a look at the PA and filter alternative (will be next week due to vacations).

The Balun specification states it supports the L01+ so that should be fine.

Thanks for the response, it's an old product that we want to make a new revision with improved RF, so its not on the plans to change chip soon. Even if they are not recommended are they compatible with the Balun, bandpass and PA we purpose?

Regarding the nRF52 series, are any of them directly compatible with the nRF24?

The main concerns in changing chips are

- The compatibility between chips, we want new revisions still to be able to talk with old products that are already on the market.

- Firmware changes time/cost to implement the change.

Hi,

The nRF24 is no longer recommended for new designs, it hasn't been in many years actually. If you are developing a new product I would recommend that you take a look at our newer products such as the nRF52 series chips. What kind of product are you working on? Is there any particular reason why you need the nRF24L01+?
