 In the Product Specification for nrf52840 it&amp;#180;s written that setting CONFIG (0x50C) register to Pause (0) would pause the watchdog while the cpu is halted by a debugger.

&lt;p&gt;Yes, your understanding is correct, the WDT will only be paused when the CPU has been halted by the debugger, not when it&amp;#39;s halted because of a NVMC operation.&lt;/p&gt;
