Great work, happy to hear you got it running 🙂

Yes, we've made some changes to our SDK and nRF Cloud solution, called FOTA_V2. In order to get it running you must download latest NCS tag v1.5.0 (released yesterday) either manually or via the Toolchain Manager found in nRF Connect for Desktop.

I also recommend reading the "Working with nRF9160 DK" chapter, and the Asset Tracker application documentation which is needed to fully demonstrate the nRF Cloud potential.

Thanks. I have the information, and could connect the kit to the nRFCloud.

I do not get GPS, but I will move the board to the open aire.

It is not clear which file to download, or how to update to FOTA_V2. Where do I get / which file do I use to update:

Your device is currently set for "FOTA_V1". We have upgraded the plaform to "FOTA_V2". To use the new FOTA update mechanism, use the latest version of NCS.

After updating and connecting your device to nRF Cloud, the "Service Info" field in the "Cellular Link Monitor" card should display "FOTA_V2".

Hello,

What version of the nRF9160 DK are you using? The information needed should be on the backside of the board, right under the IMEI number.
