You mean they don't want to use that particular chip, or they won't use any TI chip at all?

Of course, you don't have to use a TI chip - you just have to find something which supports a modulation compatible with the old product.

You should ask on the TI forums if they have anything else to recommend.

The "2.4GHz" just describes the carrier frequency at which it works - to be compatible with another radio, it would also have to support a compatible modulation.

Dmitry has explained that there is no such modulation supported by nRF52.
They want to use BLE, but also want to be compatible with the old product at same time
Then you're going to have to find a radio which supports that - don't TI have any?

EDIT
save the cost of CC2510 transceiver
We came up with this solution because our customer was using CC2510 on their old product and now they are using BLE on their new product. They want to use BLE, but also want to be compatible with the old product at same time.

nRF 52 series have 2.4G radio module, so we are thinking if we can use 2.4G directly on the chip to save the cost of CC2510 transceiver.

If any other solution, waiting for your reply 🙏, thanks very much !

RE: nRF52 Radio modulation

nRF52 supports only 1Mbps and 2Mbps bitrates in GFSK mode, CC2510 - up to 250 kbps.
