Is there a recommended DAC that should be used with this particular SoC? Does anyone know in general how to get the chip to play sound?

&lt;p&gt;But, unless you&amp;#39;re a teenager, that shouldn&amp;#39;t be a major problem :)&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Since you are going to play basic sounds, like beeps, you could use a timer to generate a PWM output.&lt;/p&gt;
