I'm using the nRF51 DK (PCA10028) to mesure the curent consuption of my system.
I'm using an external DCDC witch is a part of my system, so I want to mesure the current BEFORE the DCDC.
The problem is, as the interface IC drawning some current

RE: Switch completly off interface IC

Solved!

Use the nRF51 DK (PCA10028).

Cut SB9 and remove R6 if present (see nRF current mesurement section of DK user guide).

Plug USB cable and switch the board on.

Now you can power the nRF with the upper pin of p22 (nRF current mesurment pin). The current mesured is only the current consumed by the nRF.

The interface MCU will be powered by the USB cable.

You can also plug other peripherals to the p22 pin, to mesure your whole system's current consuption.
