When the chip enter bootloader mode or normal mode, LED5 should lid. If you don't see anything when you plug in and hold button "IF BOOT/RESET" I afraid the board may get defected.
If the board is new we can arrange to send a replacement.

Hello, apologies for delayed response.

Other DK boards are working fine.

I followed your steps to put the DK into Bootloader mode, but the BOOTLOADER drive dis not appear. Are there any LED indicators to ascertain the board is in BOOTLOADER mode?

Hi Vageesh,

Do you have the same issue with other nRF52 DK board ?
If other boards work and only this board having this issue, I would suggest to press and hold the button "IF BOOT/RESET" when you plug the board into USB port. This will trigger bootloader mode (You will see a BOOTLOADER drive in your computer) . And you can just re-flash the Segger chip with it firmware by drag and drop the binary file into the BOOTLOADER drive on your computer, usually this fix the issue for me.
