Hum..I maybe I did a poor job of describing my situation. I am not asking for RTOS support - we already have Lite-Os up and running on the NRF9160. What I am asking for, is a simple register based description on how to configure, or rather, if the way I described our approach is appropriate. E.g., you might have answered, "Ron, you cannot use the device as a basic UART, but only with DPPI and easyDMA, or whatever...The documentation is rather silent on this-:((

Looks, as if we shall abandon the project. Sad, for the HW seems to be top-notch-:)

This is not anything we can support.

I recommend looking at our documentation and official SDK, the nRF Connect SDK.
