So re-running the nRF SDK installer will load the Keil packs onto your machine. These packs include all the files and examples you will need.

Please note the pack wants to install to c:/Keil

Recent versions of the Keil tools have their default installation directory as c:/Keil_v5

If you install the packs, you will have these nRF51 device database entries in Keil.

You could try to install the Legacy Support for Cortex-M devices available on the Keil site. (www2.keil.com/.../legacy)

This solved the problem for me.

had the same problem. went back to uvision 4.72. When uvision5 is installed it creates a backup under the keil\arm directory, you can copy everything back and your good to go.

I see the same issue you do, but I would normally not recommend starting a new project, as there is simply no benefit from doing so. You should instead start from ble_app_template, by just copying that project and rename it. This will ensure that all flash and debug settings are correct, and will most likely save you from trouble later.
