I am currently working on a project that requires data to be sent over Bluetooth. I currently have an NRF52832 Development board and have been trying examples and understanding the mechanics. My current setup is a teensy microcontroller that

RE: NRF52832 NUS and UART

The default pins for UART on the nRF52832 DK is described on this page.
As awneil mention, you should either cut the solder bridges (SB13-16) on DK to disconnect UART from interface MCU, or use different GPIOs for UART that you define in the application code.

RE: NRF52832 NUS and UART

Hello,

Thanks for the fast reply. I have disconnected the USB-to-UART from the board and have been using my j-link to program it. I'm still a little fuzzy as to properly how to properly wire this from the MCU to nrf.

RE: NRF52832 NUS and UART

In the example project you have PC --> UART --> nRF52832 --> NUS. So your situation is no different to that - just replacing PC with MCU

The only thing to note is that you will either have to disconnect the Dev Kit's USB-to-UART from the nRF52832, or configure different pins.

See the Dev Kit documentation (User Guide & Schematics) for details.
