I'm working on disconnecting ble from the module.
I'm using the app provided by nordic.
I designed it to disconnect the ble when I press the button on the module.
Disconnecting the ble connection worked, but the module automatically reconnects

RE: Disconnected BLE

[quote userid="90457" url="~/f/nordic-q-a/72705/disconnected-ble/299627#299627"]
if the module is forcibly disconnected and the APP does not request a connection again,

it makes no difference whether the disconnection was "forced" or not.

Again, the connection has to be initiated by the Central - whether that's the App, or the phone's OS

See: https://devzone.nordicsemi.com/f/nordic-q-a/72125/can-ble-device-is-actively-disconnected-by-the-bound-mobile-phone-and-automatically-connects-back-to-the-phone/299589#299589

RE: Disconnected BLE

Thank you for replying.

Module: function to disconnect ble connection (cannot re-request)

APP: ble connection function

So, if the module is forcibly disconnected and the APP does not request a connection again,

the module will not automatically connect to BLE.

Is this impossible?

Thank you

RE: Disconnected BLE

The only way a connection can occur is by the Central requesting it.

If you don't want your device to be connectable:

Don't advertise at all, or

Use non-connectable advertising
