I don't think that is the same problem....but this board was using the nRF51822 AC chip.

Can you tell us your BT chipset name? I try CSR Harmony official sw on Win7. No luck with SDK8.1 & SDK7.1. But on Ubuntu14.4 with same CSR dongle, SDK7.1 can be connect but disconnect at once. Links here: devzone.nordicsemi.com/.../

A couple normal Windows updates from Microsoft later, and now the system is seeing the device again with no change on the nRF software side. Closing this even though no real resolution in case someone reads this later...

seems like a windows 7 driver issue. hard to say the reason, we will investigate it but it unfortunately take some time.

Yes. But even removing and re-joining, etc. on that Win7 machine fails to get it to begin to work again.

No luck, despite multiple tries. Using a new Win 8 laptop, both systems work perfectly however. I'm still at a loss...
