&lt;p&gt;Yes, that might be the case. Are you using mergehex from nRF Command Line Tools version 10.12?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The known bug has been fixed for version 10.13 (not yet released), and the workaround for now is to use 10.11 until the release of 10.13.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Does using version 10.11 solve the issues that you see?&lt;/p&gt;
