&lt;p&gt;have you earlier flashed applications via an external programmer? In that case, the MCUboot on the Thingy91 can disappear which makes it impossible to flash applications without using the debug probe.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The fastest way to restore your Thingy91 is to flash the corresponding “thingy91_ltem_2021-03-04_8e8c6089.hex” file located in the folder “thingy91_fw_2021-03-04_8e8c6089/img_app_bl” using an external programmer. This application has a MCU-bootloader included.&lt;/p&gt;
