There is a known bug that was fixed in this PR. You can try applying the fix and see if it solves your problem.

Just to clarify, I used both modem firmware 1.2.3 and 1.2.2, both did the same thing.

Version 1.5.0 NCS, 1.2.3 (or 1.2.2) and we're using a custom board that's very closely based on the newest rev 9160 DK. In particular, the same serial flash is used, and it's hooked up the same as the DK.

Would the upcoming 1.3.0 modem firmware address this issue?
