I wanted to know the RSSI value where the receiver saturates when receiving data from a high output power transmitter.

Thanks

RE: Maximum Rssi value that can be received by the nRF52832 SoC in dBm

okay, so I'll take it as a saturation level. So the spec says it should be typically 0dBm.

We have designed a BLE module with nRF52832 + SKY66112 PA frontend. I was using 2 of these modules, one as transmitter and the other as receiver. The transmitter was transmitting at max output of 21dBm. The modules were fairly close to each other.

I checked the RSSI on the receiver and noticed that it never went above -14dBm. Is there any reasoning you can think of for this to happen?

RE: Maximum Rssi value that can be received by the nRF52832 SoC in dBm

RE: Maximum Rssi value that can be received by the nRF52832 SoC in dBm

Thank you for your response Awneil.
