@PolygonHJ: The NUS example is available in our SDK. In order to program the chip on the module you would need a SWD programmer for example Segger Jlink. I'm not sure if there is any bootloader on the module so you can flash the chip using serial or via BLE. You can try to ask the module maker to seek their help there.

I don't believe I've flashed any firmware, do you possibly have a tutorial link on how to flash the NUS service? Thanks!

@PolygonHJ: Which firmware did you flash to the module ? You should follow the instruction in the module's wiki page.

The nRFUART app was made to be compatible with device running with NUS service. If your module doesn't have the NUS service the error " 'Device doesn't support UART. Disconnecting." will be asserted.

To get started I also suggest you to get hold of our nRF51 DK. We have examples and tutorial that should be able to help you to start. Check out our tutorial page.
