It works after configuration change from:

Ok, but the "Bluetooth: EnOcean" sample is not my project, so I would like to hear the author's opinion on this error/bug first.

So I guess you need to find which value it's complaining about, and use one that is supported?

Yes, I've looked-up it:

main() : bt_enable() : bt_dev.drv->open() : hci_driver_open() : sdc_support_scan() :

returns -NRF_EOPNOTSUPP (-45) "Scanning state is not supported" :
-ENOTSUP (-35) "Unsupported value"

Have you looked-up what the -35 error code means?
