Hi Hakon,
yes, I was able to import the example, now I can communicate with peripherals with 8bit registers.
In the next days I have to try with 16bit registers.

I will see what I can do. I found this sample, which I think can be ported to nrf53 without too much trouble.

Is it possible to put in the example both the reading / writing of 8bit or 16bit addresses and of data registers of 8bit or 16bit?

I don't think there is an I2C sample in the SDK, but it shouldn't be too difficult to create one. I will ask about this internally to see if anyone could take on this responsibility.
