&lt;p&gt;Yes, it should be possible to run a timer from the internal HF oscillator, but please note that the&lt;a href="https://infocenter.nordicsemi.com/index.jsp?topic=%2Fcom.nordic.infocenter.nrf52832.ps.v1.1%2Fclock.html&amp;amp;anchor=unique_1861058799"&gt; frequency tolerance is 1.5-6% for the HFINT&lt;/a&gt;, so you must expect up to 6% variation in the timer you&amp;#39;re using, so it won&amp;#39;t be very accurate.&lt;/p&gt;
