So just to be explicit, I've used the pca10000, not pca10001. pca10000 usually comes ready to go as a dev dongle tool to connect with MCP, and its this binary I'm referring to. It sounds like you may be talking about pca10001 maybe.

What dev dongle binary? The dongle came with nothing on it originally, well mine did. If you want to put one of the examples on it, download the SDK, compile the example and put it on.

Just use nrfstudio or whatever else you use to put code on your chip previously to put the code you want back on your chip again. The sniffer app is just another app, nothing special about it.
