I connect the nRF52820 and other devices with UART and communicate with the baud rate of 38400bps.
I know that the transfer error rate is different for each baud rate.
It will be different for each MCU. I would like to know information about

RE: UART transfer error rate

I think it depends on

HF clock accuracy you are using

Jitter caused by internal clock division logic as mentioned with the actual baudrate vs selected baudrate shown here

I do not think we have any other data other than that

RE: UART transfer error rate

Hi,

I have seen the following data in the datasheet when using other MCUs.

This shows the error rate that occurs according to the UART setting or clock setting.

However, I can't find this information in the nRF52820's datasheet.
I need this information to set the proper baud rate when using the internal clock.

I am assuming that you are talking about the error rate when NOT using the flow control?

There is no general (or easy) formula for getting the error rate in this case. It depends on application/driver on each side and how fast each side is flooding and consuming the data (given the baudrate is fixed).

What are you trying to achieve here? trying to optimize something based on the known error rate?
