You can use whitelist on central, yes. Peer Manager supports that.

Ok, thank you, I will have a look at this. What if I have two centrals, that want to automatically reconnect to a peripheral. Can I also implement the white list on the central instead the peripheral?

Hi,

Device Manager is from an old SDK version. It was replaced by Peer Manager, which is the module used in newer versions of the SDK. (Both of these modules are parts of the respective versions of the nRF5 SDK.) The HID Keyboard Application example mentioned above is using Peer Manager.

Hi,

You can do this for instance by using a whitelist. This is what the HID Keyboard Application does. Initially, it connects to any device. Once it has connected to a device, it will add that device to the whitelist, and only connect to that device in the future. For that example, the whitelist is disabled through a button press, allowing for connection to a new device.

I have seen, that the auto reconnection can be achieved by using the device manager, but I cannot find any example project in the Nordic SDK. Is this somehow a third party library?
