Hi,

There's not much to go on here, but if you have a spare nRF52-DK, you can use that in combination with the BLE-sniffer:

This should give more insight in which side is misbehaving.

I don't really have any log. It just tries to connect, but it immediately disconnects.

I posted the same question in the ContikiNG gitter page, but I haven't received any reply yet.

Hi,

Is there any logs on the device side that might show what went wrong?

The sample is outside our scope, and we do not have any knowledge about this specific OS. Have you tried the contikiNG support channels to see if they have any input?
