Dear Chris, I am using your Xcode plugin but having an error.

arm-none-eabi-gcc: fatal error: selected multilib 'armv6-m' not installed compilation terminated. make: *** [build/ble_hrs.out] Error 1 Command /usr/bin/make failed with exit code 2

Could you help me ?

Hi, folks,

Newbie to Nordic development here (but not to embedded systems, other BLE hardware, C, Mac OS X, iOS and Xcode). Any updates to this topic in the last couple days? I checked cocoa's GIT repository on bitbucket.org and it appears to (still) be empty. Cloned chris' repo on github.com and will experiment with that a bit. Thanks for your efforts. Anything I can do? Act as a guinea pig? Help document the dev process on OS X? (after I figure it out :-) Mike

Hi Chris,

I forked your GIthub locally and played with it -- great work!

I don't really have a preference of repository type, but I do agree with a couple of things Cocoa says:

Choice of toolchain: a late version of GCC EABI is preferred for me
A plug-in would be nice

And given that cocoa has kindly offered to write the XCode plug-in... ;)

Hi, I've seen your repo on github. Great work, but I prefer to use a new repository because :

a new gcc toolchain based on gcc ARM embedded instead of Codesourcery (As Nordic has chosen to support it and not the other)
Codesourcery on Mac OSX is only a great trouble, as this toolchain lacks of S3 Mentor libs)
Nordic has released new linker scripts for gcc ARM embedded.
The idea is to create an xcode plugin for gcc ARM embedded
I think bitbucket offers a great git/mercurial client and more choice than github (but I don't want to fire up a religion war about a source control sw)

I have had something up on github for some time. It is using CodeSourcery gcc toolchain. Been working on the ARM gcc toolchain. Will update at some point.

I think it'd be nice/useful to create a Github repository that has a cookbook for the toolchain, setup for XCode, etc.
