I’m also having a similar problem, can you describe the issues with the linker file and how did you resolve them. Also I have same question with the soft device hex file.

my issue is corrected.
for your information it was not an eclipse issue but linker script uses by gcc.

Please, don't remove Vidar blog as it can be use as it by people, just mentioned that you don't give any technical support on it.
And put reference on this thread.

Issue comes from linker script and not eclipse.

The blog post is 6 years old, it's not been updated since. I will request it is removed to avoid confusion.

Please look into using Ozone instead, it is a very good debugging tool.

Sorry, but we do not support Eclipse. In an ideal world we would support them all, but these are the ones we support:

You should be able to use Ozone if you need graphical debugging:
