&lt;p&gt;You may need to look at the resources that the TWI and UART instances are using in your application like colcks, PPI, and GPIOTE channels and make sure that these don&amp;#39;t collide with one another, as our example projects (which I assume your project is based on) are not designed with seamless merging of examples in mind. You can use the&lt;a href="https://infocenter.nordicsemi.com/index.jsp?topic=%2Fps_nrf52805%2Fmemory.html&amp;amp;anchor=topic"&gt; instantiation table in the PS&lt;/a&gt; for reference.&lt;/p&gt;
