&lt;p&gt;So you want to use the Dongle as a &amp;quot;regular&amp;quot; USB dongle scanning over BLE, correct? Please check out our&lt;a href="https://infocenter.nordicsemi.com/topic/sdk_nrf5_v17.0.2/ble_sdk_app_nus_c.html"&gt; BLE_app_uart_c example&lt;/a&gt; which can be used as a scanning device. However, ble_app_uart_c example uses UART instead of USB so it will require an additional USB-UART bridge to communicate with the Pi through USB. We don&amp;#39;t have an USB version of this project but you can check out the &lt;a href="https://infocenter.nordicsemi.com/topic/sdk_nrf5_v17.0.2/usbd_ble_uart_example.html"&gt;USBD BLE UART Example&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;and use that as a reference to how you can replace UART with USB.&lt;/p&gt;

WIth multiple retries, once in a while ble connection is successful.
