Thanks for the feedback, David! I’m glad to hear that you could resolve the build issue.

Actually, it is not that obvious but you can open and edit the main.c file in SES. See the picture below.

I removed them both and was able to build the udp nrf9160dk_nrf9160ns project or at least it says build completed.

I was expecting to see in the SES Project Items pane the src/main.c file somewhere so I could edit.

Is there another SES view that I should open or should I just open the main.c and every other file manually?

Yes, of course. With complete installation, I meant the Toolchain Manager, nRF Connect SDK and its Zephyr installation. I’m sorry for not being more specific about that!

I have a nRF52 project in the pre-production stage,so I can not remove the complete installation.

I can try yet again to remove the Tool manager and the nRF Connect SDK.

Hello David,

I assume that some things got a little mixed (and hence “messed”) up in your installation.

I would recommend you do the following:

Remove the complete installation
Install the Toolchain manger
Install the nRF Connect SDK (preferably by using the default path)

I hope this will solve the issue! Let me know if you need any more help.
